Description

Energetic Properties: Grounding, aligning. Purification (was used traditionally in purifying incense).

Smell: The aroma of Juniperus deppeana wood essential oil is described as woody, balsamic, with a resinous, cedarwood-like scent. It evokes the natural fragrance of fresh-cut wood, often with a hint of spice and earth [1]. To us, what sets this oil apart is its smokeyness and a depth and long lasting soothing and earthy smell (Jah Skipper, 2024).

Perfumery Note: Base note.

Main Chemical Constituents: cedrol, α-pinene, sabinene, and β-pinene [2].

Adulteration and quality: This aromatic oil being exclusively offered and produced by small scale craft distillation in the USA, the relative risk of voluntary adulteration compared to globally traded oils is significantly reduced (Jah Skipper, 2024).
