The aroma of our very special wild lavender essential oil sings a song of nature and simpler times, of reconnection, of the sweet light of love that permeates all and of the wildness within us. This lavender was wild-crafted in the Drome, a still wild and rugged region of France. Just like we modern cut-off humans seek redemption, this wild lavender seeks redemption for the vastly exploited lavender species. If you’re tired of lavender, this lavender is for you.

Smell: What we love about Melilou’s lavender is it’s so fully fine lavender, it’s like smelling the fresh plant with a hint of fruitiness. Very different from Florent’s high altitude lavender.

Adulteration and quality: While adulteration is described as very common (2), we trust that our distiller in France does not adulterate.
