Description
Energetic Properties: this tall standing conifer tree is among the handful of emblematic trees that grow in the high Alpine forests of Northen New Mexico. This beautiful, rare oil is alive with complexity and sparkle. It feels like a complete perfume on its own. It is calming and helps one to relax by tonifying the nervous system and bringing a sense of warm, comforting structure to the psyche. A great oil to use when getting over an illness and a sense of revitalization, strength and inner peace is needed.
Smell: A wonderful, complex aroma where the resinous and woody notes dance with sparkly, slightly citrusy notes with a sweetness that is very tantalizing.
Perfumery Note: covers from sparkly, citrus-like top note through to resinous middle notes
Main Chemical Constituents: Primarily α-pinene, followed by significant amounts of β-pinene, β-phellandrene, and α-terpineol, with variations depending on the plant part (needles, wood, etc.) and location.
