Description
Physical Properties: Antibacterial, mucolytic, antispasmodic, analgesic. Uses : steam inhalations, dilute in salve or balm for sore muscles
Energetic Properties: White fir expresses a certain fluidity that connects the sky and the earth, the spiritual and material realms. White fir has a strength, a vigor and a protective energy that the indigenous people of north America appreciated and used in medicines and spiritual practices. White firs definitely have their feet well anchored on the earth and their heads in the sky. This strong sense of alignment and stability can be detected in its powerful oil, which has a potent energy that is both concentrated and linear like the upward pointing energy of the tree. A great oil for meditating and opening the space between the heart, the throat and the third eye. I find it really helps tune into the inner world of the self and notice each tiny movement and feeling and to express this authenticity through words, song, teachings.
Smell: This white fir aroma is addictive. I (Cathy) cannot get enough of it. It is penetrating, sparkly, fresh, green, soft, piney, lemony, balsamy, delicious.
Perfumery Note: Top note.
Main Chemical Constituents: pinene, camphene, β-pinene, δ-3-carene, limonene and bornyl acetate (1)
Adulteration and quality: We can guarantee that this aromatic oil being exclusively offered and produced by Forgotten Plants, our own distillery, it has not been adulterated (Jah Skipper, 2024).
