Aids the nervous system in cases of fatigue or stress. Calming for digestive upset. Can be supportive for menstrual discomfort and emotional symptoms associated with the menstrual cycle or menopause.
Smell: Soft, green-floral, with fresh petal brightness and a delicate honeyed undertone. Lighter and fresher than Rosa damascena, with a dewy, garden-like character.
Perfumery Note: Middle to top. Highly valued in fine perfumery for adding freshness, lightness, and floral complexity.
Main Chemical Constituents: Citronellol, Geraniol, Nerol, Phenylethyl alcohol, Linalool.
Adulteration and Quality: This oil is exceedingly rare as an essential oil (most Rosa × centifolia extracts are absolutes). The adulteration of Rose oils is very common however given that our partner distiller in India produces this by distilling from freshly harvested petals himself (that we where fortunate to see our selves in person) we are confident in the purity and authenticity of this batch.

I LOVE this oil. I’m not the biggest fan of Sandalwood that’s found in the rose attar and was so excited to see this addition. It’s the most lovely, purest rose smell that reminds me of my grandmothers in different ways but in such a heart opening and loving reminder of the amazing women they were.
