Description
Energetic uses: To be defined
Smell: The aroma of Pinus edulis wood, has a top note that is fresh, turpentine line, green, that process to a softer rounder, woody heart note and fires down to a balsamic, resinous and creamy base, with hints of pepper and styrax.
Perfumery Note: Mid/to base note depending on age of oil and application.
Main Chemical Constituents: to be defined. This is a very rare essential oil has limited chemical characterization.
Adulteration and quality: This aromatic oil being exclusively offered and produced by small scale craft distillation in the USA, the relative risk of voluntary adulteration compared to globally traded oils is significantly reduced.
Distiller’s Notes: The trees came from my land and where 50 plus year old. The summer harvest returned a much more resinous raw material, that differed from dead standing and winter harvest I have done in the past for the wood.

Wow. I have been in love with piñon since the moment I walked the mountains on the high road to Taos 20 years ago. This batch is one of the crispest, cleanest I have ever experienced. Living in Costa Rica half the year, I always can return to the New Mexico mountains with this incredible gift. Thank you!
